Scorched is not part of the TCOTU or Parasite Initiative series. It’s a completely new story in a new setting. It’s a fast-paced, action-filled, “beach” read that follows a female protagonist’s discovery about herself and the forces pursuing her. It’s an action, thriller and mystery novel filled with both tender and dark moments along with humor and banter. It’s a Swiss army knife of book genres.
